Steph Bayan, AMFT
In my practice, I see therapy as an opening to reflect on the possibility that life is not only about tolerating suffering and that there is space for wholeness, integration, self-trust, safety, and connection. I currently work with adult individuals and couples in New York who are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, burnout, relational issues, and life transitions (including pregnancy and postpartum). With a work background in creative industries, I combine my knowledge of these experiences and psychotherapy to offer therapy focused on creative fields.
As a therapist, I strive to create a space that is non-judgmental, supportive, and exploratory. I’m a firm believer that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to therapy and in keeping with that belief, my sessions are tailored to each individual. Each session is rooted in elements of client-centered, mindfulness, CBT, and narrative therapeutic approaches.
