Inside Voices Workshop 9.16.23
I’m offering a workshop derived from my DBT-informed course, STAY AFLOAT. After 12 years of teaching mindfulness-based coping skills to individuals, couples and families, I have designed a course that synthesizes the most effective tools for changing negative internal voices while creating space for a different part to speak.
This live online group is an introduction to the skills that help manage those sticky thoughts, beliefs and voices. We’ll move into a guided meditation and re-imagine a healing narrative in the second half of the session.
Adults who struggle with critical self-talk, rumination, intrusive thoughts and self-compassion will benefit from this event.
The course will include the Inside Voices workbook available for PDF download.
INSIDE VOICES offers the opportunity to learn how to radically change the way you talk to yourself, allowing a new narrative to emerge. You will learn the skills needed for slowing down and mindfully identifying which voice is emerging, the language that isn't serving you and how to create space for a different story.
This will be a safe and warm environment with a format that is both therapeutic and educational.
